I'm co-founder and CTO of Game Analytics. Game Analytics is a middleware solution for web-based game data tracking and analysis, founded in 2011.We provide massive scale data analysis to smaller and mid-size game companies.
Before, I was a researcher at the Fraunhofer IAIS in St. Augustin and at the Bonn Aachen International Center for Information Technology B-IT. I held a Marie Curie Fellowship of the EU at CMP Prague, and a fellowship of the German Research Foundation at Bielefeld University.
I have a strong practical and theoretical background in everything related to large-scale data analysis. I worked on various topics in Pattern Recognition, Computer Vision, Data Mining, and Machine Learning. Currently, I'm mostly interested in novel algorithms for streamed processing of massive amounts of data, in particular low-rank methods and their application to game data. In my free time (?) I work on the Python Matrix Factorization Toolbox PyMF.
